Abstract

The problem in this study is based on the low mathematical representation ability of students caused by the learning process that does not involve contextual and open-ended questions, especially in SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. Therefore, development was carried out as an effort to address these problems in the number pattern material. The study is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model which aims to develop E-LKPD based on PISA questions on the number pattern material. The results of material and media expert validation indicated that the product met eligibility standards, with average scores of 3.67 and 3.80, respectively. Meanwhile, based on students’ responses, the attractiveness of the E-LKPD got average scores of 3.29 and 3.41, which were categorized as “Highly Attractive.” Furthermore, the N-Gain shows a final score of 0.65, categorized as moderate, indicating that the E-LKPD was sufficiently effective for use in learning. Therefore, the PISA-based E-LKPD is worthy, attractive, and sufficiently effective in improving students’ mathematical representation ability
