KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MAHASISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERNUANSA ETNOMATEMATIKA

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji menguji keefektifan pembelajaran mahasiswa pada penerapan model problem based learning yang bernuansa etnomatematika dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa salah satu dari perguruan tinggi swasta Jombang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa data nilai pretest dan postest berpikir kritis mempunyai data berdistribusi normal, sehingga dapat dilanjutkan uji parametrik. Pada uji Paired Sampel T-Test menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran problem based learning bernuansa etnomatematika berpengaruh terhadap hasil post test. Kemudian Uji One Sample T-Test menunjukkan berpikir kritis matematis mahasiswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan problem based learning bernuansa etnomatematika dapat mencapai ketuntasan kriteria B, sedangkan Uji Gain Ternormalisasi (N-Gain) menyatakan bahwa antara berpikir kritis sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model problem based learning bernuansa etnomatematika dengan rata-rata peningkatan Tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran problem based learning bernuansa etnomatematika memberikan dampak signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa
