This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, assisted by Baamboozle, on students’ mathematical problem-solving self-efficacy. This study employed a mixed-methods approach with a quasi-experimental posttest-only control design. The study population consisted of eight-grade students at SMP Negeri 22 Semarang. The sample was selected using simple random sampling, while the research subjects were determined through purposive sampling based on students’ self-efficacy. Quantitative data were obtained from a mathematical problem-solving test and analyzed using t tests dan z tests. Qualitative data were collected from the results of the mathematical problem-solving test, questionnaires, and student interviews. The qualitative data analysis in this study was carried out in several stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model produces better outcomes than the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in terms of students’ mathematical problem-solving ability, (2) students with high self-efficacy demonstrate better problem-solving ability compared to those with moderate self-efficacy, and (3) students with moderate self-efficacy show better problem-solving ability than those with low self-efficacy
